Family Farm
Our partner Kyklopas is a family farm located in the northern region of Greece. For generations this family has been making olive oil – caring for everything from tree to bottle. Their orchard grows in a clean environment which is far from any pollution and uses the latest production technologies in order to achieve top quality.
The unique olive variety, soil type, climate conditions and farming practices produces a truly unique flavors and gives you the chance to experience a variety of tastes.

When it comes to high quality olive oil, the best are produced and bottled at the place of farming. Processing, crushing and malaxing the fruit by mechanical means only, followed by immediate packaging of the fresh oil is the best guarantee for lasting quality.
Origin traceability and quality of olive oil on the market today is difficult to discern; many manufacturers blend a variety of olives from many different sources. It is estimated that only about 20% of the olive oil imported to Japan is of high quality.
Our partner takes resposibility for the whole cycle of olive oil production from tree to bottle. And no middle-men are involved – Orfey Gardens is a direct importer and the only distributor of their products in Japan.
Ideal Packaging
At Orfey Gardens, we believe in selling wholesome premium products at reasonable prices. In order to keep prices lower we reduce transportation costs to a minimum without sacrificing quality by packaging the oil in cans. Storing olive oil in cans is the perfect way for keeping the product away from light and humidity, two factors which speed up the aging of fresh olive oil.

Continuing with that multi-faceted spirit, Orfey Gardens created a collection of handcrafted herbal soaps prepared with EVOO, using a variety of simple soap formulas and no artificial additives or preservatives of any kind.

The soaps in this collection are two types.
Castile soap is prepared entirely with organic extra virgin olive oil creating a gentle cleansing soap.
Our herbal soaps are created with a variety of oils/fats with natural herbs, spices and other ingredients. The specific combinations of oils, herbal infusions, natural colorants/clays, juices, spices, herbal teas (instead of water), and honey gives each soap unique properties. Some of them are scented with natural essence, others not.
